On August 21, 2024, a time capsule, well sealed and filled with memorabilia and messages, was buried beneath the floor slab of House 5.
At the ceremony of laying of the foundation stone last June, buyers and project participants handed over wish lists, various items and documents (daily newspaper, plans, keys to the old, demolished houses) in a ceremonial setting, which are kept in the time capsule.
The purpose of a time capsule is to preserve and document contemporary things for future generations. It often contains objects, documents and messages that provide an insight into the culture, technology and daily life of the time in which it was created or buried. This enables future generations to develop a better understanding of the past and connect with history. The burial has a symbolic character and is one of the customs and traditions of a property.
