Buying a property is a big step that comes with high expectations. How can buyers be optimally supported and their satisfaction guaranteed? In this article, we spoke to experts in buyer counselling and marketing as well as a buyer.

What are the main factors that influenced your decision to buy this property?

We were looking for a 4 ½ room apartment with an attractive floor plan. In addition to the kitchen and living room, we wanted at least three more rooms. We ultimately decided on the Edenblick project because it is a two-story penthouse apartment with a large, sunny terrace. We were particularly attracted to the beautiful view of the lake and the mountains. The combination of a rural location, proximity to Zurich and central connections to Zug and Lucerne also convinced us. At the same time, the apartment should not be too far from the local center.

How did you find out about the real estate market and what resources or tools did you use in your search?

We encourage open and honest communication and identify discrepancies through personal support. This approach strengthens mutual trust and enables us to proactively find solutions and ensure customer satisfaction.

How important was the location of the project to you and what specific advantages do you see in this environment?

Digital technology is crucial. We use visualizations and virtual tours to convey a realistic idea and basically only work with digital documents and tools. Communication during the project phase also often takes place via emails and video calls.

Which aspects of the construction quality and the materials used convinced you to invest in this project?

We were convinced by the kitchen builder's suggestions, especially the use of high-quality laminate resin and stone ceramic for the kitchen surfaces. The wine refrigerator was also a plus point. The choice of materials, the color concept and the style variants also appealed to us. The high-quality expansion, e.g. through the apartment ventilation with free cooling, the PV system on the roofs, e-mobility in the underground garages and the sustainable seawater heating, are evidence of high construction quality. In addition, the porcelain stoneware tiles and the wooden parquet ensure an elegant appearance.

How do you rate the communication and collaboration with Mobimo so far?

We are extremely satisfied with the support provided by Mobimo. Communication was always pleasant, efficient and competent. Our concerns were dealt with quickly and we were always informed in advance of any lengthy clarifications. We particularly appreciate the effort made to take our buyer's wishes into account - in most cases successfully.

How do sales / realization work together with the construction team?

The process begins with the first consultation, followed by the purchase agreement and payment of the reservation fee. The purchase contract is then drawn up and discussed. After the notarization, the buyer advisor takes over until the handover.

How do the construction and marketing teams work together to ensure the process runs smoothly?

Sales generally has no direct contact with construction teams, they communicate via the project manager realisation and the buyer’s advisor, who are also usually located internally at Mobimo. They coordinate the exchange of information in order to optimize the technical and commercial aspects.

When is sales integrated into the construction process?

Already in the planning phase, in order to take buyer needs into account in terms of floor plans and materials. It is a close collaboration with project management and architects.

What are the biggest challenges in marketing?

Time pressure and sometimes late availability of documents. Coordinating brochures, website and showroom requires quick and efficient work shortly before the market launch.

What strategies do you use to meet buyers’ expectations throughout the buying process?

We offer personal and individual support throughout the entire project phase. Buyers can choose between pre-developed styles or make adjustments through specialist advice. In addition, the construction progress can be followed via webcams and during on-site visits.

How do you ensure customer satisfaction in difficult situations?

We encourage open and honest communication and identify discrepancies through personal support. This approach strengthens mutual trust and enables us to proactively find solutions and ensure customer satisfaction.

What role does digital technology play in buyer advice?

Digital technology is crucial. We use visualizations and virtual tours to convey a realistic idea and basically only work with digital documents and tools. Communication during the project phase also often takes place via emails and video calls.

Which stakeholders are most important in buyer advice and what role do they play?

The customers, the general contractor, as well as the contractors and suppliers are of great importance. The customers submit their expansion requests and changes, while the general contractor checks these, coordinates them and ensures the quality of construction. The contractors and suppliers advise the customers on personalization and ultimately implement these.

When is buyer advice actively involved in the purchase process?

After the notarization, our customers are contacted for the first time by buyer advice and invited to a personal meeting. From this point on, buyer advice is the direct contact person and accompanies the buyers until the apartment is successfully handed over.
